Thanks Jim. I have the fixture as there was one with the 60-B Briggs Leatherback donor that I have used the chassis of. I bought the switch bezel last month. Now just need the correct switch. I am still trying to figure out which switch is correct, maybe I am not looking in the correct section of the JS or misreading something as it does not seem to be defined in the printed text that I have read.
I have not looked at the darkside forum in many months. No need to inflate the numbers on a site that I do not support the owner of. Don Turley's Ad:
Dome Lamp. Per the "Restoration Guidelines", this is style "A" shown on page 12-16 in the 2016 revisions, for 1928-29 Panel Delivery (to April 1929), and for the 1929 Taxi. This is the bezel and lens only. Excellent condition. See the photo. $75 includes shipping to a USA address. Attached Thumbnails

I beleive the Panel Delivery dome light and the Deluxe Delivery use a different dome light. Pictured here is the correct dome light for the Deluxe Delivery. RodYou do not have permission to view this gallery.

I have noticed that also. Actually I think the pics are from different cars. Originally the 130-A Deluxe Delivery would not have had an interior mirror, only a cowl post mounted mirror on the drivers side. I plan to add an interior mirror and a second cowl mounted mirror on the passenger side. The visability is limited so a couple more mirrors can not hurt. Rod

Does anybody know if the 1929 Tudor sedan came with a dome light or if it was an option?

by BeaufordNoticed my parking light in my two bulb buckets wont light on pass side. Switched bulbs and still nothing. Checked yellow green red and they are correct. Clipped test light to socket and ground and nothing. Any suggestions? My LEDs headlights work fine so there is power there.

by Jerry KzooThe Ron Rude A1276 Light Delivery was delivered to the Model A Ford Museum yesterday. It is beautiful and a great addition to the collection. Thanks to the Rude family for their generous donation to the Model A Ford Foundation, Inc. Hopefully many of you can get a chance to see this truck at the Museum in the near future.You do not have permission to view this gallery.

by BeaufordMet some friends at the local tavern last night and left before dark. It was a nice evening to drive the '29 RPU topless and always a crowd pleaser! One of the guys wanted me to take him for a spin. It was dark then so decided it was a good time to test the LED headlight!! (never driven in dark) LEDs were awesome and as we were going along I said damn...forgot about this little light so I can see...

How many "versions" of the A-3430 Front radius rod ball socket (Upper) were there?
This is the one with the hole on top of the dome.
I have seen one that is just a dome with hole;
The other is a dome with hole and a 1/4 inch "step" surrounding the bottom of the dome.
Which was used first or does it matter?
Maybe one...-

by plyforFor some cars (model A's and other makes) dome lights, tail light lenses, hood badges, window crank knobs, etc. are not being reproduced. A good method if one can borrow or find an original is to use that as a pattern and pour a silicon mold followed by casting resin. The mold is reusable. The materials can be found at art stores with tints available for the resin. We've made knobs and tail light...
