I also see they have oversize / longer fuel line ferrules for leaking issues when they bottom out, as well as a starter insulator kit.

OK, I've never looked at the online catalog. I just look at the hard copy.
I see in the link you gave that they have the starter switch insulator kit, but it doesn't show the large insulator for the contact strap.
That kit is a good idea though because that t part is often what fails.

I always use the online for the new parts section because things are always being added. Yes i saw that and the fuel line ferrule see my comment above!

There wasn't a picture when I clicked on it. I'll have to try a different computer when I get home.

      Ahooga Reproduction Parts
      by dmdeaton
I was working in Dayton this morning and on the way back to Cincinnati I decided to look up some parts shops in the area. Since I was driving through and had a few minutes I would stop and check them out. Gaslight is in Urbana, too far north. Ahooga is right on the way home. I stopped in what is a factory and I couldn't believe what I saw. Punch presses actually making parts for A's and T's here in...

      Reproduction Parts
      by dmdeaton
Was going to put this in technical, but pertains to both sections. Who is making all the repro parts offered on the market today? How much of this is US made and how much is from overseas?...

      Bert's Parts Catalog
      by Tom Wesenberg
When I ordered the short pitman arm from Bert's, I asked Steve for a new catalog.
There is a whole section in the back full of exploded views. This will sure come in handy.
I like to get parts catalogs from A&L, Bert's Bratton's, and Snyder's. Sometimes one seller will have something another may not have.

      Brattons 2018 Catalog
      by slammin
I received Brattons new catalog today. I'm sure many of you have yours already, because snail mail is even snailier to western Colorado. Since I haven't see any comments, I must assume most haven't looked the catalog over. The first page has an announcement that Walt is retiring! Those of you that have been inflicted with the Model A disease longer than I know what an asset Walt has been to the hobby....

      Stocking up
      by jordanka16
So, I intend for my car to last at least as long as me, to that end I have been thinking about extra parts to keep on hand. I know from reading that certain NOS parts are much better than any new ones, points for example. Are there any other NOS parts that it would be worth searching ebay for just to have on hand, parts that the repros do a poor job of replicating?

      Remote starter
      by Captndan
Where can you buy or make a remote starter for 6v? All the ones I find are too small wire without a solenoid.

Watched my new brake video today
      by dmdeaton
I included the DVD "How to stop on a dime" in my last Bratton's order. Watched it today and have to tell you, a little dated, but I liked it a lot. For a newbe to this, it explains the whole system pretty well. From the pedal to the shoes. I seem to be acquiring more parts than what I need since we bought the roadster, but I can use on my future project....

Anybody have some of these? I don't think the vintique rubber strips will fit worth a s**t. Any substitute for them?...
