I also see they have oversize / longer fuel line ferrules for leaking issues when they bottom out, as well as a starter insulator kit.

OK, I've never looked at the online catalog. I just look at the hard copy.
I see in the link you gave that they have the starter switch insulator kit, but it doesn't show the large insulator for the contact strap.
That kit is a good idea though because that t part is often what fails.

There wasn't a picture when I clicked on it. I'll have to try a different computer when I get home.

      Ahooga Reproduction Parts
      by dmdeaton
I was working in Dayton this morning and on the way back to Cincinnati I decided to look up some parts shops in the area. Since I was driving through and had a few minutes I would stop and check them out. Gaslight is in Urbana, too far north. Ahooga is right on the way home. I stopped in what is a factory and I couldn't believe what I saw. Punch presses actually making parts for A's and T's here in...

      Parts & Service Reviews
      by Soapy
Is there a place on VFF where reproduction parts are reviewed by purchasers who have either been thrilled or stung? Be nice to have a place to find that kind of information. I'm sure that I am not the only one here who has been really irritated by, and sometimes financially stung when a catalog describes something as "perfect replacement", "best of 3 available" and then when you...

Bert's Model A is Original Parts Gold Mine
      by Tom Wesenberg
I'm back home after spending a couple months in Arizona to be with my girlfriend and to buy a nice rust free Buick. On my way home on Tuesday I stopped to visit Bert's in Denver. That's a nice large building Steve is in now, and the parts are well organized. A few container still have mixed original parts to be sorted, and I bought some nice original hard to find parts. It's hard to imagine so many...

Was going to put this in technical, but pertains to both sections. Who is making all the repro parts offered on the market today? How much of this is US made and how much is from overseas?...

      Missing / Replacing Parts
      by mhsEngineeringStudents
This is Trevor from MHS engineering. We are in the midst of our restoration project. With any restoration there are parts that are missing, incorrect, broken, or are the correct part just new. We are in the process of making a list of what we will need to get. Our frame is mostly original with some few exceptions. Most of what we need to get is on the interior/body of the car. We were wondering where...

      A & L Parts Specialties
      by Don Turley
Last week, I sent an email to A & L Parts with a list of parts I wanted to order. I received a reply from Allen.

"I am very sorry but we are no longer providing retail sales. The CT location will be closed soon. Manufacturing and wholesale sales will continue on a reduced scale due to no employees." Allen

      Starter Motor Resurrection
      by popsjohn
I thought it would be a good idea to have working spare parts for my car in case of a problem and I would be ready with a spare. I purchased a box of starter and generator parts from the Steve Wastler Estate Sale which included a starter with Bendix drive. It was rusted and the armature would not turn. After an afternoon of liquid wrench, hammering and prying I was able to get the armature out....
