Thanks Jim, I stopped at a guys house today that has an early frame and axles that I can buy. I decided to check to see if he was home, ( If his trucks there, he's there ) and the truck was there. I went up to the house only to find out he was sleeping in the truck !! I tried once to wake him and decided to let him rest. He's 80ish and a sound sleeper Pat

      Where is FLOP from Pittsburgh?
      by Tom Wesenberg
FLOP use to post pictures of his Model A rust repairs and metal shaping, and he did excellent work. I wish he would start posting on this site, as I really enjoyed watching his repairs.

I found this link to some of his work, by doing a Google search. His posting could even help someone wanting to do their own repairs.

Pictures of a Double Venturi Throttle Plate
      by Tom Wesenberg
I got an email from someone wanting to see pictures of the throttle plate for a double venturi carb. Notice the plate just has a Z in a small circle. My single venturi Zenith has 18 1/2 stamped in the throttle plate. The double venturi has a 20 degree bevel on the throttle plate edge, which of course must taper to straight sides near the throttle shaft area.

My choke plate has rust pits,...

      Authentic Indiana license plate.
      by Big guy
I have tried Ebay and other internet sites as a source for authentic plates with no luck. I need or would like to have an original 1929 Indiana license plate for my Tudor. Any suggestions on an honest dealer selling plates? I would like to register the car with an authentic plate. Thanks...

      Eye Candy For Jim
      by Rowdy
Jim, Here is the early 28 stuff I made a deal on a few weeks ago. Went over and picked it up today. Unfortunate parts are someone changed out the front drums to later ones and changed out the banjo housing. Also the script springs are replaced with later ones. Still a good buy for $200. Rod
