Independent Body Building Companies and the Ford Archives...

Does anyone know if there are records at the Ford Archives concerning all of the Independent Body Building Companies for whom Ford sent Commercial "A" and "AA" Chassis to for production of their own body styles on the Model A and the Model AA chassis?

I will for sure contact the Ford Archives on this question.

Judging Independent Body Styles

How will we (or how are we) currently judging a 1928-1931 Model A/AA Ford with an Independent Body Style that is NOT (and which are not to my knowledge) currently specified in the MARC/MAFCA Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards?

Will those vehicles be treated like all other vehicles in receiving full points or less points since some of the features are not covered within said...

Model A Ford Body Block Part Numbers???

Has or does anyone know of or have a list of what the Ford Part Numbers were for all the Body Blocks used on the Model A Fords?

Have contacted several wood makers of Model A Ford Wood and they do not know! Amigine that!

I know the Ford Body Parts Lists does list a couple but not all.

Other "builds" for the Model A/AA Ford engine...

Besides the Model A/AA Ford cars, Commercial Vehicles and Trucks offered for sale, what other items utilized the Model A Ford Engine in their special "builds"?

To name a few were the Smith Model A Air Compressor, Doodlebugs...

Any more that you can think of?

Ford's 315-A Standrive "Milk Delivery" body...

Ford's 315-A Standrive "Milk Delivery" body...

Ford assembled 900 AA-112 Drop Center Chassis (112" wheel base) in 1931 and 1932 for use with 453 315-A Standrive "Milk Delivery" bodies built by Ford.

That left 447 chassis used for Independent Body Building Companies...Does anyone know what some of these bodies might have been?
