Can anybody tell me about a C-16C Champion spark plug? I inherited a set with my PU. They have an electrode similar to 3X and hex size is the same.

I've run the successfully for many years, no complaints. Depends on your engine components & driving style tho. -
If I remember correctly the C-16C replaced the C-4 that replaced the 3X.Comment

The C-16C was replaced by the W-16Y, which is a colder plug than the 3XComment

I think now replaced by number 561. I run 518 (W18) heat range plugs for the H.C.head. Nice tan color.Comment

I've always run Motorcraft TT10 plugs, even with a HC head. They like to be at home in a hard working engine. Nice tan colour after towing the camper or a long, fast run.Comment

I am currently using these Autolite 3076 spark plugs. They are running dry and black. I have read/seen/heard that perhaps a hotter burning spark plug would work better.
Thoughts? Advice? Recommendations?

Has anyone come up with a decision what they find for the best spark plug for the Snyder 6.0 head and what gap would seem to be better? Just wondering. I have been using an Autolite 3076 for a number of years (20 +) in a Brumfield 5.9 head, was recommended many years ago by Larry B. There was a recent discussion regarding spark plug length and performance.
We are not fine point here, and run the Motorcraft TT10 plugs, a known acceptable replacement for the Champion 3X.
The pix show the length difference between the newly arrived Jordan J-3 plugs and the TT10 plugs. Also shown is the Jordan box..

I know they are not original to the model A, but Splitdorf spark plugs were very popular back in the day. The correct model A plug is a #8. I'm curious to know - does anyone runs them in an A model?
