I got the year wrong, it was 1931
The basis of the strategy was the centralization of Fords European activities in England and the formation of a new company, Ford Motor Company Limited to serve this purpose. At the heart of the 1928 Plan was a new factory - the Detroit of Europe - to be built on reclaimed marshland at Dagenham in the UK, as the hub of Fords European activities. Built at the then immense cost of 5 million, the new Dagenham plant built its first vehicle, a Model AA truck, on 1 October 1931.

It seems like more often than not what I post is wrong. I probably should give up and just listen.

by BudPOn October 1, 1908, the first production Model T Ford is completed at the company’s Piquette Avenue plant in Detroit. Between 1908 and 1927, Ford would build some 15 million Model T cars. It was the longest production run of any automobile model in history until the Volkswagen Beetle surpassed it in 1972.

I've never heard of this booklet before, and by the price it sold for I guess I'll never own one.

Does anyone who collects or knows anything about the Canadian Model A/AA Ford production, know anything about Canada's Export of Model A/AA Fords?
Do any of you have the documents titled "Shipments to Overseas Branches and Indent Dealers...1928 and 1929" and/or "Overseas Shipments...1930, 1931, and 1932" from Canada?
Thanks....-

Do any of you know just what assembly plant supplied Alaska with the Model A/AA's during 1928 thru 1931? Anyone?
Has anyone done any research on that aspect of Model A/AA Ford production?
(Looks like it was a great tour to McCarthy)!
Thanks.
