Maybe ask the owner of the other site. With this site here, no need to visit where I am not welcome. Maybe he threw in the towel already. If that is true Tom he is even more small minded than i thought. ditto on losing the messages and contacts. sad that something that is supposed to be fun and take our minds off of everyday worries that games have to be played by some people. But then who knows what is going on. This place is better for a few reasons.
1. Friendly knowledgeable people.
2. A place to spread the info on meets, tours and clubs activities not just nationals that has a dedicted place so it stays up no need to bump and a chance to meet new wonderful people
3. Mitch is building a tech section with important information on the model a that will always be there in one handy place which is nice because you do search and sift thru threads trying to glean info this way it is always there and available.
4. You can make suggestions to the administrator, ask questions and get a reply to help make this site an informative useful tool.Last edited by BNCHIEF; 09-30-2017, 07:47 AM.

I spent yesterday on the road picking up my 29 Tudor, so my only computer time was early. IIRC, there was a banner announcing some site "improvements" that would take place. I can't remember the time frame, but thought it would only take a few hours. You know technology, its never as easy as the egg heads claim.

The most important PM is the one from me in 2014 asking when you might be available for a generator rebuild with regulator modification. Then the replies asking if are ready yet, etc. Any other PMs in your inbox are just clutter!

Update. I was just able to open the site, go to Model A discussion and open a thread. Next thread I received notice "unable to access website". I closed the tab and couldn't reach the website. Appears they are having some issues!

I would say the web domain hasn't been reupped as it is a GoDaddy response or there is something going on on the hosting end. **** is still up.
I would think he wouldn't just pull the plug but then who knows. Mitch... VFF may become a V12 in growth and multiply quickly!

by TJSheaHello;
I know it is a long shot but has anyone had any luck tracing their car to the original owner. My 57 T-Bird was shipped to Beverly Hills Ford on Wiltshire Blvd in January 1957. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might find who the vehicle was sold to? I know about the late 1990s law passed by congress restricting the government from giving out info, so I figure that CA...-

You know one of the great things about this site is the knowledge shared. If someone has a question, for the most part, not only the answer is given but the reasons behind that answer is also given.
If someone posts something incorrect on this site, the correction is also given with supporting documentation.
Do we know all? No. We get out information from others sometimes...-

He suggested that I come on over here rather than hang out in the political site and the house with holes in it. Nice site.. 86, did 3 As with a Best of Show, wrote six how-to articles for the National magazines and know a small amount of how Model As work.

I am curious to know if there are any other North Dakota members of VFF?
In the late 1990s, I had purchased a very complete 1926 model T, touring turned into pickup. Unfortunately, I ended up selling it, for reasons I won’t get into.
It had last run, sometime in the 1960s and had remained shedded, from that time on.
Sadly, I never had the opportunity to hear it run, due to my having...-
