  • Double Race Suffix D vs XD

For the rearend pinion double race I see both D and XD being listed. Is the only difference between the two suffixes the fact that the D has a lubrication hole and the XD does not? Does the lubrication hole used on the D cause a place for a possible later leak? It appears to me it deadends at the banjo housing, but I could be wrong. Thanks Rod

Same info I found yesterday, so possibly no difference other than the XD states no lubrication hole. Most A parts interchange charts online have both listed, but the vendors only sell the XD version, was curious why? Also I stumbled onto some Timken NOS locally with only the D suffix. Just making sure before I buy them cheap. Thanks Rod
