What a piece of ART, beautiful !
like a fine points car can't be driven !
To each his own, sum will not paint an original, sum will make better than new
destroyed? maybe maybe not.
What did they start with ? A body that had been removed and left to rot ?
We should applaud one who saves an rusty piece and turns it a diamond !

Another prime example of "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should"You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Can this even be street legal?
There's no way to see what's in from of you.
It can't be comfortable, nor safe, and I wonder how much money was wasted to make this monstrosity?

What a mess. Also see how high the crank pulley sets. They tranny must be taking up most of the front seat area.
Here's the new listing.

I never understood chopping the roof down. I have to hunch down to see the red light change as it is with stock. Some of these chop jobs, you'd have to lower the seat so low to see out, your arse would be dragging on the pavement.

by toshikI've been looking for a Slant 1931 160B - we don't even have one in a local Jax club and was approached by a member here selling a "survivor" car in RTR condition. He's about half country from me in the lone star state so if everything works out I might see the car first time only after it's in my driveway. On another side there is a thread with a long list of things to be checked (http...

by Gary KarrI'm currently in Cusco, Peru that has an elevation of 11,150 feet above sea level. That got me thinking about driving Model A's in high elevations. Several years ago, I drove my Tudor over the Beartooth pass from Redlodge, MT to the NE entrance to Yellowstone Park at an elevation of almost 11,000 feet above sea level. When I got to the top, I stopped to take some pictures. People asked me how I was...

What I am about to say, may either bring the gnashing of teeth or absolute, side-splitting hilarity, to the Model T purists. And come to think of it, the Model T modifiers as well.
Personally, I prefer the Model T in its pure form. However every so often, I have a stroke of genius. Or maybe I just have a stroke?
I realize, Model Ts have been re-powered by many different types of engines....-

by DBaldwinHow many of you have had a professional appraisal done on your model A for insurance purposes? Or do you just come to an agreed price with your insurance company? For my last car I had it appraised however now I’m finding it difficult to get an appraisal as the gentleman has apparently retired and there isn’t anyone locally anymore. The next question is what is a good price now days for an appraisal?...

by JordanI have considered getting another Model A to tinker with for a little while now- but a school teacher I can only afford so much. I have ALWAYS wanted an "original" car to make into a "grapes of wrath" type vehicle to just have fun with. I almost got one last year- but someone else got to it literally 30 seconds before I did.
I found this 28 Tudor and the owner is asking...-

by ELLIS 11BSo my fiancé just got this model Ford as a heirloom and it was her papaws, he stopped in the process halfway of completing it to make it out to be a woody of some sort because the body is all wood, from scratch from his own creation. But was told it’s a model T, I’m just the nominated one to do the restoration and thrilled to have the pleasure of doing it up for her since it was her papaws and...You do not have permission to view this gallery.

by BudPOver the weekend I was gifted with a "Model A Handbook" produced by the editors of Hot Rod Magazine in 1963. The first chapter is entitled, "The Model A's Curious Beginning." Here is some interesting information and a picture found in that first chapter.
-First Model A built in 1903 at a cost of $30,000 and sold for $750. It had a 2 cylinder engine and a single chain...-
