Reminds me of the V8 logo of the 50's that ovelayed the crest and prominant on the early F-100 grilles. Rod

Very, very nice! Hat pin, chest badge, window decal, whatever (even garage hanging plaque)-it is elegant in it's simplicity. Color suggests fine steel.

Once its inserted in the banner which will have color it will be fine. I already made a hat for myself with it, looks great

Its a great and strong shield Mitch, but regarding the font, it should be something stronger. Of course, I don't know what font, it just seems that the text weight and style don't match the shield.

Not a criticism, just one guy's opinion. (And you know what they say about opinions...)

Or even something like the font in our current banner... I agree

Maybe using Ford script? I see downloadable fonts of the script. Maybe a metallic finish to the text?

Or substitute the word 'Ford' with the Ford logo?

I was thinking the original FORD script would look best, but would Ford agree to it? I'm sure it's copywrited.

Do a google search for "strong 1930's style font" and "strong art deco style font" for some other ideas if you want.
