    Hello all,

I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I am new to the forum and the Model A world and live in the Detroit area. I purchased my first Model A about three months ago which is a 1931 Deluxe Roadster. I was not even planning on getting one, but my wife and I ran across this one when we were at someplace and it was love at first site. Through looking at reference books and help of people from the local club I have changed all fluids, done lubrication, cleaned up and rehabbed the carb, and changed out the battery. I have also been enjoying driving it and have done about 250 miles so far though I was really nervous driving it at first! I have also taken it to some shows and have just really been enjoying it beyond even my original expectations. I did go to the Gilmore and the Model A day but wasn't up to driving it there from Detroit quite yet. Anyways, I look forward to participating in the community. Here is a picture of my A from the Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village from a few weeks ago. The Henry Ford posted it on their facebook page and is better than any picture I can take!

Kevin, like I already said, WELCOME to the VFF!!

I would also say that you have a beautiful car, and I'm jealous since mine will never look like that. But that is the price of finding a survivor.
You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Hello everyone. I’ve found this forum just this morning for the first time. There is a lot of incredibly useful information that is posted on here and very friendly advise given. My name is Toby Ballard and I live in a village called Bexley in England. I’ve been building engines since I was 10 years old and have been specialising in Model A’s since I was 25. You can see some of my work on my...

                            Hi,
                            I've been a Model 'T'er for nearly 30 years.
My wife and I have a very nice Canadian built '21 with an Australian built 3 door touring body on it, that we restored several years ago. Its been in our family since 1964....but that's another story. I am also nearing the completion of a 1915 T Speedster I've built from bits n pieces.....also another story, but at least now you'll get the...

This post will most likely tick some of you off. Here is my premise: Old car clubs are loosing members as the old guys are croaking. There are not enough young people interested in the hobby to have it continue in the future years, and it will slowly die off, until the only place to see old cars is in museums. I will next attempt to blame all of us in this hobby for this problem.

                            Here's whats going on.
I would like to go about the daunting task of possibly using a Model A as a daily driver. Purely for the experience of reliving days past in a....tougher or easier time depending on how you view the situation.

I would like to try to get a 4 door hard top. I am not very mechanically inclined but I feel its simple enough it would be...

I have been lurking on the Model A forum and I am impressed with the way the members treat each other. I own two Ts and hope this T forum picks up. I have been a member of the MTFCA and its forum for some time. If any of you frequent that forum you will notice they are having some problems. Hoping I am welcome here

Greetings!! I am new here...in the process of finalizing the purchase of a 1926 Model T Touring. I have loved these cars all my life and now I am in a position to own one and am pretty excited! Currently I'm reading all the info I can get on care and maintenance as well as places to get parts and repair advice. The car I'm looking at is 100% complete but has not been cranked or driven in about 5yrs....

Hello, I am getting a 1928 Tudor next week. It has been sitting for about a year and a halve. The current owner started it and we went for a ride. It looks like a tuneup is in order but I was wondering what you guys think I should do before I adventure on the road. It is all original. I have never been around a Model A but have tons of automotive experience.
                            Thanks
