What is the prefered "cut-off" month between the 1928-mid 1930 vs mid 1930-1931 Open and Closed Cab bodies?



Also the prefered "cut-off" month between the 1931 "soft-top" vs the 1931 "steel-top" Closed Cab body?



Also the prefered "cut-off" month between the 1928-mid 1931 narrow bed Pickup body vs the mid 1931 wide bed Pickup body?

Question one based on what I have observed seems to be the end on April or early May. Engine/chassis numbers seem to be no later than April.

Question two. Since I don't have alot to base this on. I can say I have not seen any steel top cabs without an indented firewall. The few I have seen had May/June engine numbers at the earliest.

I have only seen two of the wide beds so do not have enough of a sample size to give an answer for question three. Rod
