by benbuilderI have a 1930 coupe i bought as a driver. It has the original tank, it is not a 28/29 tank. The gas cap has two tabs underneath and it works fine.
I bought a project 1930 tudor. no gas cap. I am looking for a cap for this project.
My gas cap from the coupe fits the tudor perfectly.
I ordered a new cap made by Vintique. It did not fit. I bought two used ones from...-

by Jim StulgaHi, Combining two topics this time. Only recently got the car and did my first gas fill up. What octane is recommended for an original '30 engine? I used 87 and thinking (maybe imagination) it's not running as well. I did add 4oz Marvel Mystery Oil which I read about on this site. Also, I filled up so I could see the "F". When turning corners, gas started spilling out. Should we not...
