              The advert says that when mounting it, it can be above the mirror and to the left or on the dashboard. I tink (Irish) I will mount it on the dash. I believe it would look cool there.

                I know where Sarah's clock will NOT go, on the dashboard. I'm not drilling any holes anywhere near the gas tank. I will put it above the windshield and to left of the mirror bracket. Keep perfect time......

                  Ed my replacement wooden header that the mirror attaches to the header isn't a solid wooden member. Do some investigating before you install the clock.

                    A friend of mine has the same clock and mounted it on the header using small countersunk stainless screws. The screws were just long enough to bite the cardboard header. It never got loose or fell off and once removed the holes were undetectable. Be careful as BH mentioned. You can even take the header interior panel off without much fuss
