He has elves do all the heavy lifting.....and 'Joe's' black coffee!

I remember when he didn't want to miss a day of work to drive an hour over to Gettysburg for the Meet.

Now he's a National Fine Point Judge.......

When I figure out how I do it, I'll let y'all know. I am blessed with a very busy repair shop. But most importantly I have a top notch professional crew, that lets me focus more on the back end of things. At my age that's good I am on top of everything that goes on in the shop. I still get dirty

I'm preparing for painting, the running boards from my 30 coupe. I'm this far. I've got most of the paint off them (not all). The top part and the undersides of the step plate are pitted. The exposed surfaces have some rust, but not bad. Some welding required at the corner of the step plate and the splash apron. Most of the glue/goo that held the rubber mat in place has been cleaned off. How would...

Certainly not a new topic, but many of the old posts don't answer the first timer's questions on flush/backflush:
                              1. Do you run straight white vinegar....all three gallons?
                              2. How long do you run it for? I have heard hours, days, weeks....
                              Flush/backflush
                              3. When you neutralize, how much baking soda do you use for the three gallons of water?
                              4. How long do you run that...

You know one of the great things about this site is the knowledge shared. If someone has a question, for the most part, not only the answer is given but the reasons behind that answer is also given.

If someone posts something incorrect on this site, the correction is also given with supporting documentation.

Do we know all? No. We get out information from others sometimes...

How much is it worth? Original 1928 Tudor
                              by Jordan
I have considered getting another Model A to tinker with for a little while now- but a school teacher I can only afford so much. I have ALWAYS wanted an "original" car to make into a "grapes of wrath" type vehicle to just have fun with. I almost got one last year- but someone else got to it literally 30 seconds before I did.

I found this 28 Tudor and the owner is asking...

I'm new to this forums thing and even newer to the Model A hobby (obsession). My father in law has his first car, a 29 roadster that he also learned how to drive in, he also has a 31 deluxe roadster that has been in in the barn since 64 ish that is in hundreds of parts. Do to personal and financial reasons he needed to unload the 31. To help him out, I found a buyer but when it came time, he would...
