I saw the same car. It was a quick shot and I did't get the color but it was an A.

So,, as many of you saw in the Good Morning post and me mentioning it in other posts, today was our clubs monthly tour and it was to Superior Automotive Engineering in Fullerton, Ca.

Now, the day started out with a bit of rain as I left the house my usual early to settle the parking lot meet-up location. After the first mile, the rain stopped and was just thick overcast for the rest of

          Welder suggestions
          by Terry, NJ
I'm wondering! I'm thinking about buying another MIG welder! That little Century is just not getting the job done. I'm trying to weld 14 ga patches on trailer I'm restoring and it doesn't have the heat. I'm growing grapes, the welds are clumping up and are not really sticking, I can knock them off with a hammer! The machine is good enough to weld 18ga patches but thats about all. This is a 110, machine...

          Ford Model A assembly line
          by Jeff/Illinois
Nothing new, most of you have seen this before, but it is still fun to watch! Ford was good about documenting and filming their operations we're glad today that they did.

That guy on the main line connecting the engine to the drivetrain must have been the Main Man he appears in still photos a lot too.

          A consideration on restoration
          by Ray Horton
"If the driveline on the A is properly restored to factory specs (keep in mind I'm not talking Judging Standards but Ford original specs for fit) it is a VERY reliable car."

This was a comment from a knowledgeable professional restorer, Kevin in NJ, and though I have heard similar comments before, this one caught my attention for the distinction drawn between Judging Standards...

          Official Ford Model A film
          by Denis4x4
Watched a two hour DVD that combined several Ford films on the introduction of the Model A and how it was built. However, the real interesting segment was on the dealership, service and financing. We all know that Ford controlled everything from raw materials to the final product. What was news to me was the financing and insurance that Ford provided to buyers through the dealership. While today's...
