Been a long long time since "Rusty" has been started since he has been apart. Now that he is mostly together I figured some exercise in the yard would be good. He wouldn't start! Thanks to this forum I was able to check all the things to narrow down the problem that I have forgotten. Makes sure your coil connection is good! LOL Fired right up!! Weird driving on a actual seat with metal around me!

by reggieHI: I'm from Northern Wisconsin and I have a Late 31 Deluxe Tudor that I have been working on for years now, when I can afford to work on it as I'm disabled now have been for about twenty years now and I can't afford to hire anyone to help me with the car but I keep doing what I can do on it. As I won't sell the car as it's staying in the family has been in the family since about 1940 or 1945 or...

by MitchI posted up some extraordinary informational write up's submitted to me by Pluck. I placed these in our Articles area which i think was a better spot than the tech forum since they are very long and detailed. These articles are about the evolution of the engine block, oil pump, brake shoe and the junction box.
Thanks Pluck for allowing these to be shared exclusively on the VFF.-

I have received a lot of requests from these so called closet modifiers about starting a separate forum for them to share ideas. These closet folks are on other forums meshing in with the general population but are limited in what...

by copgibI have mentioned in the past that I will be picking up my 1930 Model A Coupe up in Louisana the first week of May. I will meet my brother who will be coming from Texas with my car. My mechanic has been working on it since October 2017, on and off. He is a retired mechanic that owned his own shop and had worked on many Model A's. He told my brother he loved working on my car but forgot how much work...

by glentreDidn't know this forum existed and found it quite by accident so I joined to see what it's all about. I've been a member on the barn for almost four years with some 325 posts so I'm not a newbee. My handle there is Lona.
Seems like a shame to have two forums on the same subject. While I've read many very generalized comments on why this new site was formed, it seems...-
