    Cowl Light Crossover Wire

    I have installed the cowl lights on my 31 SW 4D TS. I purchased a cowl light cross over Wire. In the package with the wire was a drawing B-14426 (attached). This drawing references two harnesses,

    1. #11647 HL Harness and,
    2. #13412 Harness.

    Question, does anyone have copies of the drawings?
    Can anyone tell me how and where to obtain these drawings?

    Unless I am mistaken, 11647 is the main wiring harness that starts at the bottom of the steering column and goes everywhere.

    13412 is the crossover wire that connects the cowl lights.

        Well, I opened the bag that contained the wiring harness. The drawing in the package is identified as ACR-11646. I am assuming that the drawing 11647 is for the harness without turn signals.

        This answers one of my questions. I have this drawing.

        Where can I locate the 13412 harness drawing?

          I need to see some pictures or drawings of how the wires are routed for a 29 Tudor. It has cowl lights. I have attached some pictures that I took before disassembly but they do not seem correct.

          I have a 30 Murray town sedan. The main wire loom has the 7" long wire coming off of the light switch on the steering column. How was the cowl light crossover wire originally routed from there to inside the firewall?

          A couple of years ago I replaced the wiring harness, my headlights are two bulb type(headlight and parking). Wired the cowl lights so they are powered from the parking light wire when turned on (no bulb in the sockets)
          Had cowl lights in that steering wheel position, high and low beams in their correct position.
          Drove the car the other night and no low beam, only cowl and high. Oops.no...

          For you guys who are running cowl lights, do you only light them on one setting or do you run will the cowl lights lit all of the time?

          I wired mine in accordance with the wiring diagram which identifies that the cowl light are switch on and off and do not light when the head lights are on.

          I'm installing turn signals in my 30 deluxe phaeton. I bought a cowl light conversion kit from Mac's. It seems that the socket and 2 filament bulb assembly, together with the new reflector with an elongated hole will not fit inside the body of the cowl light. Anybody else run into this problem?
