As much as I personally don't care for them as a vendor, they do have good information.

Mike thanks for getting a spec thread going.. would you be able to compile the list of the fluid type and capacity's for each component? The reason why i ask for you to do it instead of just putting up someone else's information, is so that you get the credit for it and we post the correct information. . You can post it right to this forum and then i will save it in the tech area. One huge thing about this is, if you open up all the vendors parts catalogs which list capacities and the les red book, some of the capacity amounts are different for a specific component.
I remember noticing this a couple years back when we were discussing this before.
Putting up accurate info is important

    thanks

Give me a little time to look up the information from Ford documentation. As you mentioned different documentation out there have different information.

maybe a year or so ago i opened all these books to the spec section
          les red book
          snyders
          brattons
          service bulletins

i was getting conflicting capacity amounts on certain components i forget which ones.

thats why i asked Mike to verify it, before we post it up

I am no mechanic but can usually perform many repairs if I am given detailed instructions. There is a wealth of information on the forum and many knowledgeable individuals willing to share their experience and knowledge but sometimes you have to read multiple posts from a variety of posters to gain the complete picture.

I recently worked on fixing my leaking 2 tooth steering box using...

Do you own the "Model A Mechanics Handbook Vol 1 by Les Andrews? It's a must have for any Model A owner which touches on most aspects of the mechanicals. I'm sure there are many here that do not own a copy yet for various reasons, incld being new to the hobby, or having other priorities. I'm doing some research so your input would be very important. We know that there are some errors listed in...

            by Mike V. Florida
Got my LB chapter notice in the mail today. Not sure what I need to do in anything as I assume since they sent the notice to me they know they have my money. Anyone ever deal with this before?

            Technical threads needed
            by Mitch
Lets get some technical how to type threads started on the main Model A forum. These threads will be merged into our tech forum for future reference. We have a few merges in the Model A engine topics thread so far (ck it out). When we get more drive-ability things for instance they can eventually be merged into one thread in that forum. Each category is not limited to a certain amount of info. One...
