Here is the description.. i use something very similar which you would not be able to buy...

""Use to lubricate and protect door hinges, pins, cable, chains, bearings, rollers, and tracks"""

You can even hit it with PB buster but it wont stay on as long

I use DOOR EASE on the flap part of the latch. This is a stick lube in a tube. I use motor oil on the hinges, and Mystik red grease on all the internal linkage and pins.
It sure made a nice closing door after I replaced the broken latch springs and lubricated all the parts.

Tom, where do you get Mystic red grease. I check Ebay and they do have a sticky red grease, but no Mystic. Do you buy by the gallons ? Thanks, Pat

Fleet Farm has it in small cans and grease gun cartridges.

Too bad the hinges aren't LARGE, like Jaguar XKEs, they have GREASE fittings.
Climb in through the window, like NASCAR drivers do & the hinge pins will last "FOREVER"----

I bought my tube of DOOR EASE at the auto parts store a few years ago, and I wonder how different it is from bee's wax.
Toilet rings are bee's wax from what I've read, and they are only a buck or two at Menards. One toilet ring would lubricate hundreds of doors.

You're always thinking Tom, I know I have a new one out in the shed. Might just as well give that a try, they want $6 for a small tube of the Door Ease.

              Door aligment
              by albjerryg
Having trouble aligning passenger door so it will close properly. I tried flowing the manual but it gone from bad to worse. I had an idea of losing the screws on the hinge door side then closing the door with the screws loose so the door will fit correctly. I gotten that far and door fit good now I need to get in the car with the door close and tighten the hinge screws. Does that sound crazy??????...

              Bent hinges - DUMB MISTAKE
              by Supergnat
I am really embarrassed to write this but I desperate need of advice. I accidentally drove my 28 Fordor Leatherback into the garage with the driver side rear door open. The door caught on the edge of the garage opening molding and bent the door back over the rear fender. I was able to straighten the edge of the door where it contacted the fender but the door will not close anymore. The upper and...

I have the 1955 Victoria just got it and trying to fix the little things wrong with it. The passenger door does not close properly. It hits like a thud. The wheel on the door is loose and the door button stays pushed in. Does any one have a good diagram or picture that shows how the door mechanic work are a site that might have it. I have ordered a new/used door latch assembly. Thanks for any help....

              by Mickey
I need to replace one complete door hinge on my coupe ( lower one) and don't see at any of the retail houses the rivets that are used where they attach to the door. What do you folks use that have done the replacement.

              Bent Hinge or Body Shimming?
              by Pklarkin
              Hi all,

The restoration of my 1929 Business Coupe continues...

I put the newly painted/restored drivers side door on today. The hinge pins all seem to fit pretty well, but the hinge side of the door binds about 6 inches from closing. The bottom binds first, but if I take out the bottom hinge pin, the door binds in other places a little closer to closing.

              I've...

              Victoria door handle
              by BillEbob
Guys in the club told me how ‘easy’ it is to remove door handle for locksmith to repair lock cylinder.

Apparently they didn’t know that the handle is held on with nuts inside the door panel! (Is the 190A different than their “standard A’s?”)

My question is: how to remove passenger door panel to retrieve nuts and re-attach? Is it similar to ‘60’s Fords, i.e....

31 Ford Door no second click when closing
              by Hawaii Pro 31
I’ve changed the striker, door latch too but it will not click two times as it closes. I, clearanced the outside of the door frame so there is space around the door and adjusted the striker a few times too. You push the door in, click but it will not click again to close the door. Is the door still contacting the body or is the striker the culprit,,,Thank you...

Removing Door Handles and Repairing Door Latches and Locks
              by Tom Wesenberg
I had to replace some broken springs in my 1929 Tudor. To remove the handle, just remove the 2 screws on the outside, then turn the handle 45 degrees, wiggle it as you pull outward. Spraying Kroil on the square shaft helps during removal, as does holding the flap inward to relieve some pressure. Then you can remove the screws on the latch assembly and work the latch out of the door. It's very tight...
