  • Trailer build update

Will get a few more shortly, wiring is not complete interior will be fully lined, top will be insulated no wiring will show at all and will be in conduit as well as having a full length ceiling. Diamond plate will cover the wires in the rear corner as well as at the bottom of the white panels on the outside. Floor racks for tying down the car yet to be installed as well as the remote set-up for the winch. It will also have a removeable tailboard roller so you do not fray the winch linewhen loading. Aluminum load ramps will also be secured in the rear as well as two spare tires. Still a lot of small detail work yet to go.

Bud thank you so much for your kind compliments, as far as speed goes I have to admit this has taken longer than i would have liked but since I am now retired I do not rush things an old friend had a saying "If you do not have the time to do it right now when will you have time?" That has always stuck with me.

                Trailer recommendations
                by Big guy
Guys, If I had a trailer I would be joining yawl in Branson. This brings to mind a question about trailering for long hauls. I have a 29 Tudor and wonder what minimum size enclosed trailer I should be looking for. I know most are going to say to buy the largest I can afford. Do I really need two axles? Have a great time in Mo....

Main frame is 2x4 3/16 rectangular tubing with a 2x3 x1/4 center beam to the hitch cross members are 2x3 angle this trailer is way stouter than most I have seen but when i see sheet...

                Interesting trailer hitch
                by Keith True
On the Vermont Craigslist there is a pickup with an interesting hitch.I saw pictures of these years ago, they were for surfboards. This one looks to be extended a little more than the pictures I saw.I remember the hitch was actually under the vehicle, and a long pole ran up to it.They weren't something you were going to hitch a regular trailer to.I think a surfboard was all I would want to hook to it...

                Mud Flaps
                by CarlG
I notice that most of the vendor catalogs carry mud flaps, but none have the brackets to mount them. Does anyone make such a thing? I am interested in putting some on my pickup now that I have my '36 Mullins trailer. Only time I pulled the trailer, it was covered with road spray.
