I found everything under the sun at Hershey today, except a 31 Chevy air cleaner for Wiz. I think they must be made out of gold.

It was hot today on that tarmac, but partly cloudy so that helped. Calling for all out rain tomorrow
I guess all the rust may get covered up so it won't rust

And the weather report currently is that there will be rain tomorrow, decent on Friday, maybe showers Saturday morning. Does anyone agree?

I may have missed seeing photos of Hershey's in the past; but for me this is a first.

Thanks for taking time to share so many wonderful photos.

I'm sure a few others have never been to Hershey's and probably may never get a chance to go to such an interesting event.

Mitch, When did you take those pics? The ones in front of the MARC tent were taken basically from our spot, especially the one of the green fordor. Sorry I missed you. I must have been off looking for parts or I would've said hello. Down the row there was a nice six wheeled 30 coupe painted the "Drabs" also. Light pole # 38. We had a Black and white 55 Desoto, A red 65 Ford Galaxy convertible, and a mid sixties Dodge Dart w/273 four speed.

Looks good Mitch I see a roadster body that I would be interested in. Did you see any T parts like a right front fender and a hood. I will be there some time tomorrow.

Thanks Mitch. Those bring back memories. I wish I was there. My buddy took his model T pickup and 29 coupe to sell, and sold them both before he unloaded them from the trailer to Hyman, who raised the price 50% and offered them for sale in his tent. Hershey is amazing.

I heard of a lot of cars that sold. Saw folks hauling large items home on the way out. P/up cabs, body's.

I saw many VFF'ers and met Ronnie Roadster the land speed record guy who is on the Modified forum here. He had some nice stuff for sale on his tables.

I bought a radiator from Berg and a couple of 19" wheels. Also got a couple of nice '31 radiator caps.

One day I would really like to go, we have decent swap meets out here but nothing as large as what I have heard about hershey. Only obstacle is the distance

Only a 7 hour drive for me. Well worth it.
My big concern when there is the exchange on the dollar.
Quite often I can buy the same, here in Canada, cheaper.

I'm at HOME & RELAXING in my adjustable bed & drinkin' COFFEE & watchin' TV, with the Dog---I should have ordered a BIG HERSHEY BAR, with ALMONDS
By the way, we have a HERSHEYS' FACTORY, just North of us.

Hey guys, I was there on Friday and unfortunately the place was just a shadow of itself. Besides the now too frequent flea market spots being used for parking vehicles I was told that many vendors went home after the rainstorm on Thursday. Friday was nice but windy and chilly, then it rained again on Saturday. Don't misunderstand me, I will attend again next year if possible, but this year was a disappointment.....

After pulling in Hotel at 2 in the morning Weds night, we were both grumpy. Ordered breakfast on the way to the field and waitress forgot to put our order in. Rained all day and we were both ready to pack it in and just go home. Long drive to Cincy. Friday was another story and wife had the time of her life.

One fellow from Australia had a nice LED headlight conversion. Fits original reflectors and it is adjustable for focus! He was sold out of the kits, but I have his website. I am going to order a kit for the roadster.

                              Hey Danny
I’m happy to hear that the Model A gods came and saved the day. The shitty Thursday weather sure didn’t help things. I didn’t see Jay there dang it, but I hope that you gave him a VFF card.

Mitch, if he didn't get a card there, he will get one on Dec 30 when I see him at the Horseless Carriage Holiday Excursion, which he regularly attends!

I was stunned and couldn't think of anything to say. Like a blubbering idiot. He shook my hand after the picture and asked if I were her father. He is cool. We will go back.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I never took my camera out of my backpack this year! Shopping was good although not as good as in years past. We sold a fair amount of stuff, even in the rain on Thursday. Hershey 2019 is on my calendar!
