  • Show Us Your License Plate Topper

I have 5 now and will probably stop unless I come across a very special one that is affordable.
The first and last I bought just the other day on ebay, and the middle two pictures I bought on ebay about 4 years ago.
Many of the toppers sell pretty high on ebay, and I rarely find any at the swap meet and antique shops.
I bought all 5 of these repro's on ebay for less than $20 each.

    I love plate toppers.
If I can get my Granddaughter down for a nap, I'll try posting some pictures. Jeff

I have a new Farm Bureau Cooperative insurance one that I found under the seat of my Tudor. It was in a bread tin with the original tool pouch, some odds and ends, and a Sears 7 shot nickel plated pistol.Funny thing is I have all the insurance papers from 1942,when he bought the car, until 1981,when he gave up driving. Not one year was that car insured by the Farm Bureau.Maybe it was in the first 10 years of it's life.I can't seem to post pictures here anymore though.I also have some Portsmouth Navel Shipyard toppers that were used by the workers years ago.

In 1971 or 72 I found a big stack of these in the attic of the stamping plant that made them in 1930. I sold them to the guys in the model A club for $3 each. Now there is one on ebay for $89!!!
I only have a few left, and I am keeping them.

Not quite a topper, but it does add bling.

The News Tour Club is one I need to know more about it as all of my research has come up empty. The Hot Rod Hillclimb was a great event and this one is from the 50th anniversary event. Finally, the last one is interesting to say the least. Google American Beach FL and you’ll find a fascinating story.

                  A few of mine.
When the Queen eventually retires, I look forward to mounting the Coronation topper.
This topper I believe was used for her father's coronation.
