SVF website says they are out of stock. Was thinking Bert's carried them also, but not currently listed on their website. Might call Birdhaven Vintage and see if they have one. Many times when other suppliers are out of a part they still have some on the shelf. Rod

              drag link install, need help
              by Mickey
Just finishing up installing a front axle, king pins, front spring, tie rod, etc. Everything fine until I come to the drag link. Silly huh? Just two ends. Well here is what's happening. I know the drag link has a front end and rear end and I know which is which but it doesn't seem to matter. BTW the drag link is solid steel, not adjustable and it's a new one from Brattons. If I connect the correct...

Drag Link and Tie Rod Seals
              by dmaxweb
I friend of mine told me about these. They are used on '48 F100 pick ups but will fit Model A. They're ugly in my opinion but he says they provide a much better seal and last longer.

They'e not my cup of tea but may be for someone....

I think I need a new drag link
              by rheacox
From the other pictures I have found it looks like that bend shouldn't be there. Should I try to straighten it or find a good used one?

              Drag link wear
              by wayne1230cars
When I bought my ‘30 Tudor in 1992 it was not drivable. One of the many things it needed was a new front spring. After installation I checked and there was no interference with the tie rod. I thought all was well. Recently while doing a steering box adjustment I pulled the drag link off and noticed how it was worn flat on the bottom side at the tie rod end. This pic doesn’t really show it that...

ORIGINAL STEEL STYLE TIE ROD AND DRAG LINK
              by Cape Codder
Did Paul Shinn mis-speak in his video or are there really brass tie rod and drag link inners?
I personally have never seen nothing but STEEL!

              Mystery Drag Link.
              by Terry, NJ
I never knew how much stuff was different between hydraulic brakes and mechanical brakes! Now, after replacing every thing I could think of, I run into another issue. I must change back the drag link. One end fits Mod. A and one end is fitted to a post 39 tie rod end. OK so screw the post 39 off and put the Mod. A on, big deal, right! No that's not right! I spent an hour and a half trying to thread...

              Drag link and Pitman
              by pAAt
Put the new guts in my new drag link (from Beauford, Thanks !!) and added my shortened pitman. I learned the Drag Link ends are not identical and my column needs to be adjusted a little tighter. I also installed some needed zerk fittings in my front end assembly. I can finally move the chassis around a lot easier !! I did more sanding at the body shop today and will be painting fenders and splash...

              Drag link question
              by Supergnat
I punched rebuild parts fo my tie rods and drag link. There seems to be a problem with the drag link and I already tossed the old internal parts. I am unable to screw the drag link plug in after I slide the link over the ball and insert the ball seat and spring. If I screw the plug in a little first it will not slide over the pitman arm ball. Do I have an earlier style link that does not get the...

1" drop spring and the tie rod hits the drag link
              by bettlesr
I changed the front spring to 1" lower than stock and the tie rod hits the drag link. How is this normally corrected? How can I get some clearance here? Can I put a little curve into the drag link? The tie rod is adjustable and the adjuster is near the pitman arm.

Drag Link end plug and spring
              by Afordman31
Les Andrews states to screw in the end plug on the Drag link 25%. How is this determined?
The tie rod ends he states 1 to 1 1/2 turns.....is that the 25%?...
