Put the regulator down into the door first. Don't attach it yet. The sash channel should be mounted to the glass. Hook the regulator arms into the glass sash channel. Then mount the regulator to the door, It's a little tricky.
Very similar for the quarters. If you have a Carpenter catalog, there is a step by step for the doors. Good info.3~ Tudor's & 1~ Coupe

by DBaldwinOn my ccpu I have installed new weatherstripping, new glass, using new welt to hold glass in. Windows rolled up and down with no issues. I installed new door panels and all new handles and euchtions (sp) now when I roll the window down and back up when the glass gets about midway the channel that holds the glass is hitting the regulator and won’t go any further. To make matters worse it’s happening...

by KB9JLOHow do you remove and install the Window regulators in a 1930 Murray body Fordor? I've tried looking for instructions and didn't come up with anything. Not in any of the common books.
Since the screws for the regulator (4 hole regulator) come from the inside out seems that would be difficult to get them out. Do you take off the whole metal panel with the regulator attached?

by SuperhartI need to remove the window regulator on the driver side of my 1930 Coupe with three screw mounting. The window glass drops an inch or so when rolled up completely. Seems like the regulator may need new springs. Otherwise it raises and lowers properly. I already have the trim panel removed but not sure how to disengage the regulator from the window lift channel. Never did this before so looking to...

by wrndlnI have a door I bought some time ago thinking is was a model A pickup door. It was advertised as a model A door on eBay. I am starting to think it might fit a model T as the window stop at the bottom is different than the other pickup doors I have. The model A doors I have, have 2 window stops. The window regulator and door latch from the door appear to be the same as model A regulators and door...

by PepeLocoSeveral of my windows are difficult to roll up. I tried to bend the spring, but I guess not enough. My regulator does not look like the catalog pics and my springs look slightly different. The regulators themselves are in great shape. just the springs.
Or should I just get new regulators?

by wrndlnI posted this on the model A forum, but I thought maybe some one here might be able to shed some light on what the door fits.

by plyforHas anyone figured out how to add door pulls to the Slant window cars that use the inside handle to close the door ?
We currently grab the garnish sill next to the glass which is cumbersome. Also,I don't want to drill holes in the garnish to add the '30 chrome pulls which some owners do. I tried a small door knob attached via a longer garnish sill screw which didn't work well, and the sill screws...-
