  • 1933 -34 radiator spash apron

What would a NOS radiator spash apron in great condition worth these days ? I think I've found one.

Hey Gary, WELCOME to the VFF!!

I don't have a clue what that would be worth, but I will tell you that the more pictures the more information and a better feel for the price. There is a wealth of information here, use it well.
You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

I can't give you a price, but if it's in good shape and you need it then get it. Supply and demand

I have a 1933 ford. Where does this apron go? My car came all assembled. I hope I have one?

Across the front frame ears right under the radiator shell.

I have to crawl under my car to see if I need it...Maybe it was never there?
It's 10 degrees out here, feels like Ice Station Zebra.

It’s right out in front, no crawling necessary. Do you have any pics of your car that you can post?

That shield above in post #5 looks like it's more for an A style body

The front lower radiator shell apron is for a 1933 or 34 Ford truck. Jim

                        Radiator Splash Apron
                        by Beauford
So in the final stretch of getting Rusty put back together. Before paint I never thought about fitting rad splash apron. (mistake) but here I am. My hood shelf and fender are not flush with horns. They stick inward a bit. They are equal amounts over the inside edge of horns so I don't believe horns are bent. Any adjustments I can make? (Repop front Fenders)

The arrows point to frame hole locations in the first picture, are there 4 machine screws that go through the hood shelf, fender, frame, and into splash apron fixed nuts ? I've been looking for pics, but to no avail, any help would be appreciated !! Thanks, Pat...

small radiator leaks, high up on radiator
                        by ClaudeC
Got my 1933 v8 engine running, running great motor sound like a new engine. Experiencing several tiny radiator leaks high up on the radiator. Any ideas how to locate the actual hole? Should I try "stop leak"...

Just installed my 1933 radiator on my rebuilt 1933 v8 engine. 4 radiator hoses but can see how to drain radiator if I need to. Is the drain on the engine block?

Can you direct me to any sites where I can learn how to remove a radiator. I don't want to just start taking things apart that I may not have to.

                        1933 v8 radiator repair
                        by ClaudeC
I have an original 1933 v8 radiator that just started leaking centrally and midway front from the fins. I plane to find the hole and repair it myself with either JB weld or aluminum weld. What metal are these original radiators made of? Any suggestions from someone who has done this before. Any guidance will be appreciated.

                        Radiator straighening
                        by JohnB15632
I figured that there was something wrong with the radiator installation that prevented the hood from aligning correctly.

Well, I backed my A out into the sunlight and wow, my radiator is catiumbus.

So, how do I straighten the radiator?

                        Thanks,

                        New radiator decision
                        by mhsprecher
I need to get a new radiator for my late 28 roadster. The good news is that there are options. The challenge is that there may be more than one good option. Here is what I have narrowed it down to:

                        1. New Berg's radiator
                        2. New Brassworks round tube radiator
                        3. Have Bert's recore my old radiator

Many people love Berg's radiators. They don't recore anymore,...
