Is this a Model A roadster hood bow? If so, what year?
I have a tourer and am not too familiar with the intricacies of other body styles.

    Thanks for your input.

Where may I get the correct tool to install (or remove) the 7-tooth steering worm sector bushings?...two of them.

I have talked to Snap-on about a "bushing installer/removal" tool, of which I have a few, and 1) they sent me the wrong tool after I told them exactly what I wanted plus, after talking to them once again, they tell me they do not have the correct size. On top of...

Amp meter / battery

If I have a battery going bad, would it cause my amp meter to stop showing a + charge when the motor is running? It shows discharge when the lights are on but will never go above zero when they are off. The battery checked 6.1 volts with a digital multimeter, engine on or off. I have checked it with a load tester and it is weak. I have a Schumacher digital battery charger that I just hooked up and...

A logo that said "Tuff"

I remember when I was a child that there was a logo for cars that looked like an upside-down triangle and it was red, white, and blue.

It also had a commercial with a woman and ended with a gorilla.

This came in the 1980's and it was for cars...I think it was "Ticker-Tuff"...can anyone help me here?

Model A light switch installation and adjustments

Good Morning Everyone and greetings from Sioux Falls South Dakota. I would like to ask for some advice about fitting a new light switch on a 1929 Model A Tudor. The car came t me from a friend with a request for help. The old switch was laying in pieces at the bottom of the steering column and the car has the two light system. I looked at the parts and realized that the little C clip was missing and...

Black grease in speedo again

Had to pull my speedometer again and clean the grease off the numbers. This time I wrapped duct tape around the inner wire and pulled it through the outer sheath. pulled a lot of grease out. I noticed there is a spiral in the end that goes into the turtle to encourage grease to enter the speedo cable. That is fine but there should be a felt or gasket at the other end to prevent grease from entering...
