    I see no mention of anything between the head pipe and the manifold. When I took the old muffler assembly off there were traces of some kind of fabric. Is there supposed to be something there material or caulk maybe?

    I have discovered that the headlight sockets that are in our '28 coupe are cheaply made, probably Chinese, junk. They will never work right. Contact is made in places where it shouldn't. I hope to find some better quality repos or originals that I can use

    I'm looking to install a 3rd brake light on my 30 Fordor. I think I. would like to make or purchase one that could be mounted inside on the rear window. Perhaps with some suction cup type of mount. I have not found any other suggestion for an internal mount on the back window. If any of you have a suggestion as to a 3rd brake light mounting, I would appreciate hearing from you.

    Assembly Plant Number

    I just found the assembly plant code for my early 1931 Tudor. It was under a thick coat of paint and the letters and numbers were larger than I had expected. There is also another X which I wasn't expecting. I wonder if it is related to the x on the frame number. The code is: AX STL 14511

    Was the St. Louis assembly plant that assembled Model A cars, the same one that originally built...
