    Question about King Pins

    Last week-end I replaced king pins.

    Very nice bushing fit on both and no detectable play in the bushings to the pins.

    Les Andrews says to replace the bearing and to also use at least one shim because the new bearings are a bit thinner than the originals. The test is to make sure the weight rides on the bearing when jacking up the spindle enough to support the car weight...

    How to fold a 1931 roadster top so it fits in the canvas boot ??

    In the 30+ years I’ve had my deluxe roadster, I haven’t been able to fold the top so it fits neatly in the canvas boot. Does anyone know how to do this ? Top and boot are from LeBaron Bonney....

    Thread Repair Tool: This is a used tool in good condition, used to repair damaged threads on axles and shafts. This fits fine thread sizes from 5/8" to 1-1/4", such as the steering column shaft, front spindles and rear axles on Model 'A' &amp;amp;amp;amp; 'AA' and Early V8. Open up the tool, clamp it onto the threaded shaft and screw it back off the end of the shaft. $75 paid with check...
